Coco Village Homestay Hoi An

Between old town and beach. Has bicycles and will rent a scooter too.

The location is great. It is near the rice fields in a beautifully quiet area. We really loved going into town. It was great the we could rent the scooters from the owner and she also offers free bikes to go around. We had the 2 bed room just above the main hall. It had a small balcony. The lady and her husband are lovely and i would advice to purchase the coconut tour with them as their parents own a couple of boats and they were lovely too.

First and foremost the mould in the roomwhich makes it smelly all the time. The beds were nice and comfy. Clean sheets but that was it. The room itself unfortunately was dirty. The walls were dirty. The floor was dirty. The bathroom walls were yellow. There is no place where to put your stuff. The only place you can hung the towels is behind the door. I would advice owner to put additional hooks for towels. The actual sink and the small glass tray was dirty and it had a used broken comb (i think they probably never checked it). I cleaned the room myself with wipes as they explained they do not clean the room unless you ask (we stayed 5 nights). Since they do not clean the room, running out of toilet roll is easy and i find it very annoying having to ask for that every single day (4 people need a roll a day minimum). It is a shame as i would have rated it much higher if the room was not that dirty. Also the kitchen area is dirty. Plugs are unsafe in all the rooms. If you check the kitchen, all the plugs are burnt. The kitchen itself is dirty too. Food left in the pans all day and dirty sink. I mean i understand having a young family proves it difficult to clean immediately. But it was like this every single day, so we felt it was not ok for us to cook and we prefered eating out all the time. There is no fridge in the room and the one downstairs is very full and needs a clean too

The breakfast was wonderful! She let us borrow the bikes for free and cycling around the quiet country roads yet so close to the city was just perfect!

Moon is a fantastic host, she also prepares fantastico breakfast just for 2 euro! I found the place clean and very quiet.

The owner of the place is very nice and kind. We arrived early before check-in time and she let us in right away. She was available for anything we needed with a smile. The room was big and clean , The sheets were clean and the bed mattress was soft and comfortable.

The only thing that wasn't practical was the location, which is far from the city center.

I really fond peaceful and quality Homestay It's a place to live not surrounded by the crowd Super foods and friendly owners.. So beautiful environment...!

Beautifully located away from the crowded city centre, perfect for anyone looking for a quieter and more comfortable stay for very good value! The included breakfast was great and the host was very helpful and friendly with their lovely family.

Absolutely lovely family who did their best to make the stay as enjoyable as possible! Nice hot water shower. Nice to be out of the touristy part.

The room and bathroom is covered with mould as there is no ventilation from the bathroom. The bed is very hard.
