The Horse Barn

Everything about our stay was amazing, the farm was amazing, the hosts were so warming our children enjoyed the animals and getting to explore the farm

Not a single thing we didn't enjoy!

The hosts were very kind. We let them know we were going to get in late and Han offered to buy some groceries for us, so we would have something to eat in the morning. She asked for a list and sure enough when we got there, the breakfast items that we needed for the next morning were all there! She left the receipt and we paid her back at check out. It was very thoughtful and helpful! The location was also great for our kids who loved seeing the different farm animals. My daughter also loved the bunk beds, and the cottage was really clean and cozy.

There is not much I didn't like. We had a little bit of a hard time finding the place, but that was more of an issue with the Navi and the driver (me) ;0

Beautiful property everything we needed

Most amazing property, a lot bigger than the photos! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The animals were lovely and we loved saying good morning and goodnight to them. We adored mylo! He even rounded my son up for us🤣

Nothing at all. Everything was thought out, clean fr at bedding and we didn’t need anything extra.

The location was exactly what we were looking for, peaceful and quiet over the post xmas- new year. Han was a brilliant host and very responsive to anything we asked for. Great base to see Lacock and Bath and the Xmas lights at Westonbirt

Location was excellent as we were planning on visiting Bath. The property is next to the farm so you can see cows ,pigs chickens and the busy working dogs. Nice big living room and three bedrooms, handy having two toilets upstairs. Good parking, lovely wood burner. Lovely muffins made for us on arrival, very nice touch. Enjoyed staying in a barn conversion.

The bed mattress on the single beds you feel the springs in your back, we moved one from one of the bunk beds to add some comfort. The door latches on the bedroom and bathroom door, both are very difficult to close. The heater in the bunk bed bedroom did not work. the heating goes off at 10.00pm and the whole house turns cold very quickly. We lite the wood burner but it didn't seem to make much difference. The two sofas in the lounge have lost all sponge support ,they are so low to the ground it was really difficult to get out. and up from them. My brother in law had to roll out onto the floor and spent the evenings sitting in a dining chair as they were so uncomfortable. The stairs were very tricky for both my self , l have back problems and even worse for my brother in law, who struggles with a stick. it is a shame there is no downstairs toilet but that is not a reflection on the property , that is our bad planning We have never stayed in any property where they have asked us to hoover the house before we leave. We always leave properties clean and tidy, but found this request a little strange.
