The Horse Barn

Limpio, ordenado, amplio y acogedor. Cocina muy bien equipada. Muchos animales en la granja: vacas, ovejas , llamas, cerdos… ideal para ir con niños . Mi hijo disfrutó muchísimo pudiendo ver los animales cada día . Realmente estamos encantados. Sin duda alguna volvería a alojarme allí.

Excellent location and atmosphere. Fun being on a working farm with animals. Great to have 2 bathrooms.

Lovely quiet location. Very clean with all facilities provided for. Beds were very comfortable. Constant hot water. Host of the property greeted us with freshly baked buns.

Excellent stay

Homely cottage on a working farm only a couple of miles away from my brothers place which is why I booked it. Well equipped for a self-catering place, with lots of crockery, cutlery etc. We met and chatted with Dave, but unfortunately never saw Han although she did leave us a home made muffin each which was most welcome. There was only 3 of us, so heaps of space. Nice outside area with furniture. Friendly animals. Relatively quiet, aside from usual farm noises and some road noise.

The cottage has traditional features including latched doors, some of which don't fit very well including the sole shared bathroom, which also doesn't have a lock. Also a lack of privacy in some areas. The sofas are well used, making getting up from them tricky for my 88 year old Dad. The garden furniture was a little bit tatty. Otherwise very comfortable and wouldn't stop us from booking again.

What we didn't like was the fact that the doors to the bathroom and to the cloakroom did not shut properly (they were warped) and certainly did not lock
