We had a incredible stay at the Ambengan villa. Its design is beautiful and all the staff are super kind and helpful. Peaceful location and no complaints.

Their service was far above the standard with great ambience and environment. They are really professional yet also using a personal approach which makes guests feel comfortable. Best experience and hoping to get another chance to stay.

Too short to stay. Should be longer time

The staff were really attentive and so kind, they always tried their best to make us happy. They were always with a smile and the managers were also the same. At one point they were very kind to wait for us even after the breakfast window closed for us to make a breakfast order, as we woke up late that day. The villa itself was really well made, nice design. Regardless of my review, I do wish them all the best and hope this helps them to be the best they can be. I couldn't be more positive about their good vibes.

The building : We noticed that there were times where people were working on the roofs of other villas, meaning they can see us in the private pool. So we didn't feel a total sense of privacy/safety while swimming, and didn't use it much as a result. They didn't even inform us that there were works going on. They should have notified all affected areas to secure peoples privacy. The processes : In regards to the welcome procedure, it was acceptable, however I was disappointed by how the host ruined my surprise for my wife. He decided to walk us through the whole villa when I specifically asked him while he was there to not do it. As a result, he walked through the surprise message I had for her and didn't allow me to experience her surprise for myself, and so it took away from the romantic moment of it all (I also had to pay for that). I'm not sure if this is done in other places, but it was strange to find that we were encouraged to order breakfast the night before we have it. Also, the portions were very small, we ordered mushrooms and literally received one/two tiny mushrooms each with the eggs lol Also, I kept getting messaged/asked literally everyday if we want our room cleaned, but there's a sign (like a "do not disturb" or a "please clean our room" sign) provided in our room for us to let them know if we need our room cleaned or not. Even though I told them multiple times "I will let you know if we do" they say ok and then proceed to ask again the next day. The location : There were so many dogs in the neighbourhood, at one point, we noticed a woman being aggressively chased by a pack of dogs. My wife and I unanimously decided that walking around the area was a no go. It's also not that close to all of the shops and great restaurants if you're into that sort of thing.

We loved everything about Ambengan Villas, food, drinks, the villa, and especially the staff!

Very clean beautiful new property located in the jungle and river, green serenity, tranguil. Far away from busy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing! Staffs are friendly, helpful and provide everything we need. We also love the food & breakfast menu there.

Sometimes strange smell came after flushing the toilet.

We loved the serenity & the sound of the river sweeping around the villas instead of traffic. The staff were amazing & incredibly attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa was absolutely beautiful, stylish and very, very clean. We will be coming back!
