Good location

Dirty

No end table or table lamp. Uncomfortable bed. No chairs on "porch" except for one that looked very, very old. No soap, shampoo, lotion. No reading material.

The location was great right across from water .

The shower was so small

Carpets were stained and dirty, chairs were falling apart

The lodge was quite dated, which was fine. Super clean but the bedding, window blinds, both all left much to be desired. Glad we went but wouldn’t stay again

As stated above, it was ok but no blinds on windows beddding a very cheap and on cold nights not enough. Just small upgrades that must be made. No tv in th rain this is a problem with spoty WiFi

Close to the lake got in touch with nature very serene, calm and beautiful. I took tons of photos.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property what I didn’t like about Washington Island that’s a different story no Laundromat no barbershop. Other than that. It was amazing.

This had a great location being right on the water. We stayed in the Otter. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our time there. We weren't planning to stay but after being rained out from our campsite we made an impromptu stay and it was so lovely and dry!

We've noticed this with several places on Washington Island. There will just be a musty or old smell to the place. This was noticeable in the living room and shower. The bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan and the shower had an off-putting odor when the water was turned on. Recommend shower shoes. The place was clean but there's only so much one can do against time before doing an overhaul.

Could use a little updating/repairs but overall was perfect for what we were looking for in our stay on the island. Personal fire pits would have been nice versus the community one available which wasn’t near our cabin.
