Roam Taupo Upper Terrace Unit 3 - Spa Pool

We had a wonderful stay at Roam Taupō and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The check-in process was incredibly easy and seamless, making for a stress-free start to our holiday. Our apartment was modern, spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It included free Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, TV, and air conditioning/heating. One of the highlights was the stunning view of Lake Taupō. The heated jet spa was ready to use on arrival, which was a fantastic touch after a day of exploring. Free parking was also a great convenience. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which was perfect for families. One bedroom featured a very comfortable king bed, while the other had a bunk bed and an additional single bed. All of the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The location is excellent, being close to Taupō’s restaurants, bars, shops and other amenities. It is also just a short drive from many of the area’s popular attractions, including Huka Falls, the Taupō Hot Springs, Wairakei Terraces & Thermal Health Spa, and other geothermal experiences. If you’re planning a stay, I would particularly recommend booking Units 3 or 4, as the elevated position offers even better views of the lake. Overall, Roam Taupō exceeded our expectations with its comfort, convenience and spectacular outlook. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved the view and how helpful the hosts were as we had a 1 year old and they accommodated with a cot and high chair. The hot tub was a lovely addition and it was just a lovely place to be. Shower is great.

Cant really fault , just some small minors, however would definately stay there again. The privacy on the balcony i can imagine in the summer would not be great as there is no partition between the 2 units. The hot tub is out the front and so you can hear the road and if anyone is coming for units 1/2 then they are able to see you. Would have been great over looking the lake but dont know if that would have been possible.

Excellent location, easy access, clean and simple set up

Bbq facilities would be ideal for making dinner and enjoying the decking area. With an ideal family setting, a few board games would be an extra bonus for guests.

Stunning view, spa, new home with everything we needed. Nice walk to restaurants. Kayaks available for use. Best shower ever!

Balcony is shared with another apartment. It is separated by plants, so there isnt privacy when out on the deck. Need a pull across screen like between front. Not a lot of space for luggage or to put clothes away.

Beautiful views. Very clean! Loved having the hot tub especially after doing the tongariro crossing.

Wish there was a little more privacy from the attached unit on the lake side patio. If both groups are outside at the same time you are pretty much in each other’s conversations.
