HOME IN Pompei

The location is fine, close to the centre of Pompei. The place is very modernly adapted, stylish, clean and comfortable. It is provided with all necessities for a short stay.

The apartment entrance is found exactly on a busy street and is very loud, even throughout the night. The check in and communication were a total disaster. The host tried to trick us into paying him more money. We arrived at the location shortly BEFORE the latest check in time and called the host to announce our arrival. He did not come to meet us but sent one of his workers, who arrived 15 minutes later, while we waited parked on the pavement in a narrow busy street, in the rain. The ad clearly stated pets were allowed at NO extra charge, but the girl said we had to pay 10 Euro extra for our dog. She also told us we had to pay another 10 Euro for arriving late, even though we didn't. She said those were her boss's orders and that I should call him if I want to discuss the matter. I tried calling him 4 times, but only once he answered and quickly cut the line. I did not end up paying any extra fees, it was late and the girl wanted to leave. We booked the place for 3 people, but the sofa bed for the third person was not prepared and there were no sheets. The girl had to get them for us, so we had to wait an additional 10 minutes. The apartment had very poor network reception and the wifi didn't work. All in all, a total disaster and the worst rental experience I've ever had. Wouldn't recommend them at all!
