Very clean house, quiet area. The room had everything I needed.

Lilian the host was very welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was great although i was able to eat one day only but it was worth eating served with lot of love and care. Thank you for that!!

Shared toilet was not expected, so that was a surprise. Size of room was bit small compared to what was advertised.

Everything was perfect for my stay. Lovely room. Fab breakfast. Perfect host.

I struggle with walking and walk to the car for luggage was difficult.

We've just got back from a lovely long weekend in Wales staying at the Tŷ Newydd B&B. I highly recommend staying here. Lil, the owner was brilliant, very friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable. She cooked us a top quality breakfast every morning, and there were also cereal, Yogurts and Fruit if you prefer. Breakfast is at the set time of 8:30am, which worked well for us. We stayed in a Double room with our own bathroom, it was a good size, clean and cozy, the bed was super comfortable and there was even tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The sink is in the main room rather than in the bathroom but that made no difference to us, it was a lovely room. The only thing I'll mention is the flushing of the toilet is quite loud so if you're with someone who's a light sleeper, they might wake up if you flush it in the night, but again this didn't bother us, my partner sleeps though everything. The B&B is in a fantastic location, directly opposite the local pub which serves a variety of reasonably priced drinks and also serves amazing food! There are also another couple of pubs and restaurants within walking distance too. The village doesn't have a shop for groceries so you would need to prepare in advance and pop to the next village for this. Overall a great stay and I will be recommending to everyone I know!

The host was very accomodating and the breakfast was lovely. The location was very peaceful and quiet. There is a wonderful playground for children and a large field to run the dogs a short distance from the guesthouse. Not far from Swallow falls which a must see, only about 10mins drive away with plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops.

The guesthouse is very basic with very squeaky beds, however the bedding and towels were very clean, which cannot be said for the rest of the room, the kettle was dirty on the inside and out, a lot of the decor was very tired looking and the room had a musty smell. There is no parking by the guesthouse, but there is free parking a short walk away, opposite the woollen Mill shop. The shared bathroom was very clean, but small and there are no dressing gowns supplied as stated on the website. The carpet was worn on the stairs outside the room and there was a step into the room which was a bit of a hazard without no warning sign and the ceiling was low, again without any warning signs. Doors very heavy and myself and my sister are pensioners and found the doors very awkward. The local pubs serve lovely food, but expensive and the 1 pub, The Fairy Falls only serves india food and the other 1, The Old Ship does not allow dogs or pushchairs inside the pub or any smoking in or outside.

The room was exactly as advertised. It was comfortable, airy, and had all the necessary amenities. Really enjoyed meeting Lil and chatting to her over breakfast. Lil - you're a wonderful host. Thank you for being so accommodating for my Snowdon Sunrise Trek. Wishing you all the very best!

I loved my stay here, Lillian was extremely friendly and I felt really welcomed and comfortable as a solo traveller. Breakfast each morning was fab! I ran a half marathon nearby so it was an ideal location but after that used it as a base to get to other places too!

I was hesitant about it being a shared bathroom but actually this was fine, especially as there is a sink in the bedroom (good to know). I was a bit too hot the first night but there was a fan in the cupboard, so no problems there either :)

Clean and with an excellent breakfast. The owner was really nice. Would definitely stay there again.
