"Very welcome stop on our trek"

Great stop on the Dalesway. V grateful for a bath. Staff were lovely, setting up breakfast for our very early start.

"Lovely local hotel in heart of historic Dent. Great food and very comfy night’s stay"

Fantastic location in centre of village, with cobbled streets and the village fountain outside. Excellent range of beers including various local real ales and good selection of non alcoholic drinks. Good Simple home cooked food served by friendly and efficient team. A great welcome and very comfy room with piping hot bath.

"Fabulous location in a clean basic hotel"

Dent is a fabulous location. The breakfasts were good

The beds were uncomfortable, mattress too soft. We did not like pre ordering system for breakfast. Tables were sticky. Needs an update

Great food, incredibly friendly and attentive staff particularly for people of such a young age. Steak pie lovely, breakfast lovely. Just lacked a little bit of finesse. Knives and forks were like those you got for school dinners, cheap ketchup sachets and bathroom decor from 1970s with odd little things like broken coat hooks or a cracked pain in a window just taking away from what is a brilliant place in an absolutely beautiful village.
