Glamping at The Well in Franschhoek

No hot water and there was a huge amount of noise in the evening - dogs barking pretty throughout the night

The tent concept is interesting.

The noise due to the trees on the canvas was disrupting making it difficult to sleep peacefully through the night.

Schöne und etwas außergewöhnliche Unterkunft in Franschoek. Für eine Nacht fast schon zu kurz, die Heizdecke im Bett war eine tolle Überraschung! Man muss allerdings wissen, dass es nicht direkt im Zentrum ist, sondern ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist.

It’s in a lovely setting and had everything we needed. It’s very quiet

The deck needs some work, there are some spots that feel like they’re about to collapse when you stand on them

The tent was much bigger and solid than I anticipated. Excellent bed, especially with the heated cover over the mattress, which was well appreciated given the temperatures at night. Nice setting in the nature at the end of a small vineyard, with a good braai area. A very cute place and a small corner of paradise!

The "roof" was very noisy given the wind blowing during the night: the branches and leaves of a tree over the tent were rubbing the roof and I did not sleep well given the noise it creates. Please cut them for the next stays!! Also, there is an air fan in the "roof" which creaks when the wind is strong: annoying at night too! Last point: a light from the ceiling would be welcome...

In the middle of a small vinyard, very charming but close to the centre! Nice views and pool

Very quiet place in the vineyards, it was clean and fully equipped, even some milk in the fridge for the morning coffee.

A lot of stuff is broken; mosquito net useless due to whole on critical place, fan switch is broken, one door of the shower cabin not there, floor of the veranda is rotten, etc etc. The place needs some TLC/maintanance, because it’s a lovely spot with a lot of potential. And in my opinion, first fix those things before you leave multiple notes telling guests to pay for what they break. We didn’t dare to use the hot tub due to the 2 page story about do’s & dont’s…
