The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos so no surprises. Perfect accommodation for 2 people. Great views looking out to sea, I could have sat at the window all day!

A great place to stay right on the promenade. Even better with Mauds ice-cream place a couple of doors down. The flat was clean and had a pretty well equipped kitchen. Bed was pretty comfortable. The bow window was a great asset and watching the sea and sky change along with life happening on the promenade was entertaining. Overall a good place to stay.

A few small improvements would help here. The toilet seat moved around a lot. It needs some proper securing. At night the flat door rattled when other people came and went from the building. We stopped the rattle with some folded kitchen paper jammed between door and frame. Perhaps a couple of discreet pads would do the trick. The shower screen is very short which makes it very difficult to shower without lots of water ending up on the wooden floor which will cause a lot of damage with time.

The location was good with great views of the sea and parking round the back was fine and it was free!

On entry to the property we were met with a rather unpleasant smell probably coming from the carpets on stairs and landings. This probably wasn't the owners' fault but it was quite off- putting. The flat itself was clean but in such a small space there needed to be more shelves and hooks on walls in the bedroom and bathroom, more places to put things. Also, we were unable to get BBC and ITV channels on the TV.

The internet was playing up but that was an issue with service provider and not usually an issue !

We loved how central it was to all good restaurants. We had a fantastic sea view that could even be seen from the sofa. It had all amenities… cooker, fridge, washing machine, hoover etc. We had a lovely welcome pack … flowers, diffuser & card because we were on honeymoon ❤️ We brought tea bags, coffee, kitchen roll but we didn’t need to as this was all supplied… even a pint of milk in fridge! …so much thought put into our stay by Sara & Jon. It is also pet friendly which was crucial for us as we wanted to bring our indoor cat. There was a little pack of treats left for Phoebe as well… how nice 🥹 We loved the property so much that we are returning in summer. Totally recommend 🤩🤩

The bedroom was a bit on the small side.
