The generally high standard of both dining-, living- and sleepingroom. High breakfast standard also and delicious dinner made by the hosts.

Excellent location. Good breakfast. Host superb in giving advice on places to go, also providing a map developed by himself, indicating places to go giving comments as to why they may be of interest.

Amazing little gem in a tiny Douro town. Dinner was fantastic - about 6 different appies, baked cod, a specialty apple dessert, all prepared fresh for our family and served with a lot of care. Excellent hosts

The place is lovely, comfortable, welcoming and spotlessly clean. And the hosts were very welcoming, warm and helpful with suggestions. It's very well placed for driving along the Douro valley, and the views all around are amazing.

Hard to get to initially, Google gives horrible directions. Just use route options that stay on larger routes.
