"Very good"

The view was wonderful. Good location for starting hikes. We also enjoyed the pool and the two sisters working there are very friendly and amazing cooks.

The shared bathroom is a bit old. But I guess this is normal in mountain areas?

We loved this place. The owners are so accommodating and friendly and go out of their way to help. Really comfortable rooms and great food! It's quite far out of sapa but in a really beautiful location. The owners could provide scooter rental as well so it was no problem getting to Sapa. Road to Sapa a little bad in places but 90% of it is good.

The staff, room and food was nice

We booked a "trekking" tour and it was very disappointing. Overpriced, no informations from guide and haven't really seen a village.

The view was ultimately stunning.

It was so far to go to the Sapa City. Around 10KM and the road was not very friendly. Unfinished road. Bumpy everywhere and it hurt my shoulder cause I ride a bike.

"Our most amazing stay in Vietnam"

Absolutely recommend, the family running Sau Meo are amazing people. Our rooms were right next to the swimming pool with a fantastic view of the valley. The food was amazing and we also got help in arranging guided walking tours of the area which we enjoyed a lot. My brother played a game of chess with the family's son which was fun, the family helped us with doing laundry and we got a shot of rice wine as a very friendly gesture. We felt very welcome, thank you.

The road from Sapa is poor, but you will get a tip for a good-priced taxi which was quick and worth it
