Una terrazza sul lago

Location was 10 out of 10 the veranda and view was to die for it definitely made our trip, maybe a hotub added to the veranda in the future would propel this apartment to even higher levels than it already is. Parking was easy enough but finding the apartment was a tad tricky. Short walk down to the lovely town of argegno with half a dozen nice restaurants/gelato and easy access to transport via the ferry/bus terminal that can be seen from the veranda.

No air conditioning!!! But I’m sure it mentioned it had air conditioning at the time of booking and the fan they supplied in the room didn’t work. Given the time of year we visited aircon was a must this was the biggest let down to what is a great apartment. Difficult to find the apartment a small sign on the main rd would have been helpful or a video sent at the time of booking showing the route to the apartment when entering the town. A little bit up keep regarding the kitchen levelling doors and fixing the melting fridge that had water in the bottom during our stay. Maybe update the patio furniture the furniture we had wasn’t what was shown in the photos at the time of booking and for a patio with that kind of view it deserves the furniture to match.

Stunning view Safe and secure

The views from the apartment and terrace were spectacular and could be admired from all windows. The beds were very comfortable with clean sheets and towels provided. Excellent communication from the owners who handled any questions we had promptly. The lift up to the apartment from the ground floor was welcomed after the steep walk up from the gorgeous village. We made good use of the ferries on the lake which were reliable and easy to book.

We really enjoyed the holiday overall, but the apartment could do with some maintenance and a good clean. For example, a door to the kitchen unit was hanging off, light bulbs not working, parasol broken. The dishwasher made an awful noise when turned on and no plug in the sink to wash the dishes. Wifi worked okay but needed resettting each day. Very dusty under the furniture so when the windows were opened it all blew out. We were disappointed not to find a bakery in the village and the grocery store had limited options. We didnt have a car (parking is provided at the apartment) so found this a bit limiting for self catering.

The property was very spacious and clean, and the view of the lake from every window was unparalleled. Mohamed the property manager was very helpful. It rained everyday during the stay and he kindly lent me an umbrella otherwise it would have been a very different holiday as the two small stores at the village don’t sell umbrellas and I didn’t arrive with a car to go to a bigger town to get supplies.

The WiFi never worked so I had to use data for 6 days at the apartment. There is a Lavazza coffee machine in the apt, however there was no coffee pods in the apt. The two small grocery stores in the village didn’t sell these pods either so it was not possible to have a morning coffee at “home”. It would have been nice to be able to make coffee at the apt.

Great location, beautiful large terrace, excellent views

Need a little bit of TLC …it was our third visit to this apartment and it seems like nothing has changed or been fixed since 2019 … stairs need some work done…..there’s a loose wooden window blind in master bedroom which is making noises in the night especially with windy weather…. It is a nice place but needs some attention

Outside space and panoramic view of the lake and mountains are exceptional, the apartment is comfy, spacious and well equiped for a family stay, private parking was very welcomed as parking in the area is hard to come by. Lift access direct to your room was fantastic. Great communication from the staff.

There is nothing to fault about the stay but the decor in the apartment is looking a bit tired and ready for some TLC along with replacing a few dead lightbulb’s and some of the older appliances.
