Francesco and Marzia are wonderful hosts.We were amazed that they picked us up from the train station and dropped us off when departing.Francesco also carried our luggage upstairs.They gave us helpful advice and a delicious breakfast every morning.You have access to the dinning area to make tea or coffee at all times.We had an amazing seaviews from ouf window and loved our room,a memory we can treasure.The location is perfect..in the old town near everything,for exploring.The public beach is 50 steps away,and the umbrella beach is 100 steps. Its about a 10 minute walk to the train station to visit other villages nearby. Highly recommend B&B Portabello.Security is also great. Thankyou Francesco and Mariza for a great stay.

There is no lift as your in the old town,however the steps are wide and not too deep. Hoons one night racing cars,however just close your window and the noise disappears.

The location in the historic centre was very good. Close to two lovely beaches and near all the best restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous, varied and very good.

Francesco and Marzia are exceptional hosts, super friendly with helpful advice and ready to meet every need. They not only care about their guests, but seem to really enjoy having them. The rooms are comfortably “homelike”. The location is perfect for exploring Sestri Levante and everywhere from Cinque Terre to Genoa. The breakfast sets you up for the day.

Hospitaly of the owner…excepitional. Picked us up at the train station and on our depature. Fantastic.

Wonderful host !!The owner Francesco greeted us on time and helped us to the homely apartment. Francesco then drove with me to find parking and brought me back on his scooter touring the town to give me my bearings . He then recommend excellent restaurants and sites. The next morning he served us a huge breakfast, better than at that cafe’s. My girlfriend had a toothache and he called the dentist and really looked after us. The place is highly recommended . The location is perfect next to the restaurants with a sea view from the windows

Perfect location and a fantastic host in Fransesco!

Location, the host, and that the included breakfast could be had at different cafes in the area or a quick continental in the apartment if you were on the move.

Parking & no elevator - but to be expected in the pedestrian are.

Breakfast was international, with both brioches, cappuccino and local focaccia, cheese, eggs, etc. very good
