Excellent location to visit Catania, Taormina and the Etna. Friendly owner, very responsive to all questions. The flat is cosy and well equiped.

Quiet location near the sea, in an authentic sicily neighbourhood. Awesome terrace with table, chairs, parasol and option to grill. Very friendly and time-flexible welcome by host. Comfortable bed. Old-fashioned furniture.

The place is easily reachable by car, by foot from central train station it is quite a bit out of way. Next door are a restaurant and a church, what makes a originally calm-looking place pretty noisy especially late night and early morning. Main entrance features glass doors that cannot be covered at night, so full view into your apartment when you use the little kitchen or walk through to the little adjacent bathroom - not very private. The main (living) room, featuring also parts of the kitchen like fridge, cutlery, dishes and main table, was not very comfortable, the couch covered with an old and a bit stainy blanked. Cockroaches in bedroom. The bathroom was pretty narrow.
