Room was very spacious but could of done with some black out blinds because used to sleeping after sunrise

We stayed at the lodge chalet and it was perfect!! Tucked behind the pub to give you some privacy, a lovely hot tub, a spacious chalet with a comfy bed, modern and cozy bathroom and living area and the welcome wine and cake were an extra touch! The breakfast is amazing (genuinely the best pancakes I’ve had in a while) and great location for bamburgh and seashouses! Thank you so much :)

Garden could do with a tidy

Everything was absolutely amazing. The room was huge - king size bed, bedside tables & lamps, a large wardrobe, dressing table and two armchairs, plus a foot stool, and still plenty of room to walk around. The bathroom was also huge with a corner shower and a free standing bath in addition to the usual toilet and sink. All very tastefully decorated. So many extras included: small decanter of sloe gin, bowl of sweets, fresh cake every day, Nespresso machine & 2 pods in addition to a kettle. Also a small teapot. Fresh milk available from a fridge downstairs if wanted. A bottle of still water & one of sparkling water. A really good choice of breakfast items all cooked to order. Toast & croissants supplied. All food was cooked to perfection. We chose to have dinner in the restaurant both nights. Not typical ‘pub grub’. Such wonderful choices and very reasonable prices. Again, professionally cooked to perfection. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned each day and everything replenished, including fresh towels. Really wish we could have stayed longer. Location in a very quiet village (hamlet) but with easy access to A1 as well as the Northumberland Coastal Route.
