The Lake House

The staff were amazing the manager that checked us in was amazing and really nice so was the young girl getting trained as well as the guy who checked us out really early because we had to travel back

The room was dirty there was dead flies smushed on the ceiling was told to try not to open the windows because they were having problems with flies but the fan provided did nothing. And the hallways were wooden so anytime someone walked up and down it was really really loud. Didn’t know they had wedding receptions there either when we came back their were a lot of people lingering about which didn’t die down till quite late.

Been woke up at 4.45 am! staff member bringing rubbish bins outside under the room window, it was mentioned to staff member, never got back to sleep.

Location is ideal by the shore and not far from the train

I didn’t get an invoice. The toilet didn’t work too well. Room missed a bulb.

Not our first time in the area so we knew the location which was perfect. Staff were always friendly & courteous, happy to deal with any queries straight away. Good sized room, bathroom & bed. Housekeeping ensured the room was spotless every day.
