Lovely location, fantastic bar/restaurant below and within a short drive of lots of places to visit.

I'm 6ft 4in and couldn't fit in the bed, also the mattress was slightly lower quality then expected.

No Breakfast but the evening meal was good home cooking I recommend the apple pie and custard good value for money

The manager was nice, helpful and location was close to welchpool. Lots of good heat.

The room was small, no lamp or side table, and the mattress was old and past due. The door to the upstairs room was lined with trash cans. No food was available on Tuesday or ever. No soap,and mismatch comforters cover.

Floor squeaked badly! Was clean & very old!

The floorboards are very noisy, not an issue for us, but maybe for other guests.

The location

Uncomfortable bed . " check in " was at the bar quickly and was a freezing room when i entered. Took a bit for it to get warm. The room was very cramped and basic. No chair , no bin, no lamp . The tray with tea making facilities had opened sachet with tea bag which was not good The room door led straight to a step of the staircase and it was pitch black and as i went to turn the light on i had to feel the walls as i switched the light it switched the light off on the ajacent room ! The room felt stale and the hall had a borded up area with a shabby carpet that had seen better days. The electric points for the shower and bathroom were in the room not the bathroom although i wasnt told this at check in . I only stayed 2 nights and moved on to another B&B which was super luxurious for £10 extra per night and included amazing breakfast which wasnt provided at this place. This place needs to reduce its tariff by a third to reflect the accomodation provided.

Shame there was no food served on a Monday but did find a lovely pub two miles away. Really comfortable room but felt it could have had a bedside table and a lamp as the main light was so bright. A bit of decor such as a picture would also make it more appealing. No internet access
