"Sfeervolle en historische omgeving en fijn hotel"

Ontbijt was prima. Je kan zelf uit een menu kiezen wat je wil plus aanvullend het standaard ontbijt zoals brood, jam, cerials etc. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was zeer ruim en de badkamer eveneens.

We hebben vooraf onze kamer ge-upgrade naar een betere versie met badslippers, badjassen en nog wat kleine dingen. Die waren echter niet aanwezig en bij navraag bleek dat ook niet aangeboden te worden door het hotel. Ik heb de beschrijving van booking.com laten lezen en hun ogen vielen van verbazing bijna uit hun kassen. Dus voelde me lichtelijk bedrogen door zeg het maar. Wel mijn geld kwijt maar geen extra's. Verders geen opmerkingen en het heeft de pret niet mogen drukken

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful spot"

The hotel was in an interesting location, part of the New Lanark World Heritage site. We walked up to the lower Clyde Falls which was a nice walk with a great waterfall at the end. The staff at reception were pleasant & helpful. The room was nice with a comfortable bed & good facilities, including a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. I had a swim & sauna which was good. We booked for dinner which was nice & tasty, as was breakfast. Plenty of staff on duty to serve.

If you're planning on staying at the weekend, I'd suggest phoning to check if there's a function when you want to stay. We had loud music till midnight which I couldn't sleep through.

"Bad nights sleep "party""

The pool and spa are very good. Food was ok and loved the view.

We didnt get much sleep as there was a party on till 12 and we did ask to move room but couldnt so what was supposed to be a quiet break away from our busy lives was sadly not!
