Taj Cape Town - fabulous 2 bedroom near top floor with stunning Table Mtn views

The Taj Cape Town property is simply exceptional. While checking in, there was some confusion about our booking, but I called the host and it was solved immediately and later the Taj staff were extremely apologetic about it. After checking in, our terrific front office person - Leandere, I think her name was, and she really was super helpful, courteous and polite - gave us a tour of the apartment and even made changes to the layout - such as providing separate duvets on the large double bed in one of the bedrooms - we were four friends sharing the apartment. The apartment in itself is brilliant - I would highly recommend it if you're travelling as a 4/5 person family or 4 friends - and features two spacious bedrooms, two large bathrooms, a massive dining/living area and a fully functional kitchen. Essentially, everything that you could ask for. In the kitchen you get a fridge with a separate freezer, an electric cooking pad, a convection oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and an electric kettle. Additionally, you also get plates, cutlery, glassware, bottle opener and some kitchen utensils. So whether you're someone who likes to cook on their own, or just heat up your food, you're completely covered. Also, the condition of the apartment was superb, it was spotlessly clean - and cleaned everyday by the Taj housekeeping - and has been maintained spectacularly well. Everything, from the carpet, to the furniture, to the beds has been maintained in a 10/10 condition. Also, the killer on top of everything are the three balconies - all 3 rooms have one - which have a gorgeous view of the Table Top mountain. So every morning and evening, all we would do is open the door of the balcony, enjoy the cold breeze and the brilliant view that we could see. This is also a great facility for smokers, as that way you can smoke outside in the balcony with the door closed so you don't ruin the apartment's ambiance. *I want to write more, but Booking.

Since we were advised to be careful about stepping out at night in Cape Town, we would do ur sightseeing in the day, and come back in the evening and relax at the apartment, and the big living area was just perfect for that. Also, Cape Town is really affordable (for Indians, at least) and even food at the Taj itself was really well priced. And like the rest of the property, the room service and food at the Taj were exceptional and very affordably priced. So, if you stay here, don't worry about ordering the room service, it won't cost you much and you'll get a beautiful meal. The breakfast is also exceptional, and the Taj staff really bend over backwards to make you feel at home, even extending the breakfast hours for us more than once. All in all, amazing apartment, Taj levels of service and hospitality, great food, and that lovely view. If you're travelling as a group of friends or a family, can't recommend this property more, it's simply amazing.
