Hotel Gray in Boracay

It is located near the beach but we saw mice running around in front of our rooms that didn’t go well with us

It was a rainy season and the passageway is filled with water and sands not to mention muddy area.

Great location and good value for money. We loved being able to use the facilities at Ocean Club. Room was a nice design (just very small). Staff friendly (just not very flexible).

Wifi wasn’t very good in the room we had so couldn’t watch Netflix. A little inflexible on checkout time, asked for an extra 30 mins until stopped heavy rain but advised no - and the room wasn’t taken later (as we could pay to extend another night) - was just because of the “rules”. Charged 250 pesos for accidentally breaking a small glass (fell off the their not straight shelf) - felt a little excessive for cheap glass and the menu said that was price for 2 - but they insisted had to pay that for breaking 1.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The location is 1km away from the actual busy area so it’s a bit quiet at night time.

I found 2 cockroaches in 2 different occasions which made me question the hygienic practices of the place. The 1st cockroach was from outside, it flew inside the room when we opened the door. The 2nd one I found inside the shower room. It was unsettling, even after the staff deep cleaned the room, I didn’t feel comfortable rebooking this accommodation nor recommending it to other people.

Awesome location. If you stay here, go across the road and meet Ricky and Bob Marley. They have a restaurant there with amazing food for a great price. If you meet them, you meet friends for life. The staff were professional.

It was near the beach and was alright in terms of Value for Money.

Wifi was slow.
