Harleyburn Cottages - Stables and Saddlery

Clean , comfortable beds, warm, quiet location, 15 min walk to town . Be aware no path on main roads outside property or street lights for about 200 yds towards Melrose until reach streets nearby . Worth taking a torch if going out on evening , some small amounts of traffic on road .

Location fantastic. Hosts lovely and accommodating. Beds v comfortable. Good sized rooms. Very pet friendly. Boiler wasn't working on arrival so no hot water, however Donald remedied the situation promptly and arranged for a plumber the following morning.

Cleanliness, poor to downstairs. Lots of cobwebs around beams, furniture and light fittings. Crockery and kitchen utensils dirty. Plates and cups with chips in. Main bedroom door almost impossible to open or close as trapping on carpet. Same with wardrobes. Poor access into Melrose by foot as no defined pathway from property and have to walk on road which is winding and dangerous for several hundred yards.
