Theo's Cottage at Ngā Manu Nature Reserve

De cottage is schitterend, zeer comfortabel en compleet en de locatie kan niet beter. Het team is superenthousiast, vrolijk, betrokken en deskundig.

Asked for late check-in and was charged for that. However, I was emailed and told a few hours before that they could not get anyone to do the late check.in. Still took the money for it, though! I don't mind as I hope it goes towards the reserve, but it wasn't very fair!

Absolutely loved our stay. Being in the bird sanctuary, being able to do bushwalk and explore everything after everyone was gone was incredible. The whole place, accommodation and staff were exceptional. Being surrounded by Tui’s, ducks etc was fantastic. If you’re a nature lover - you’ll enjoy this place

Was immediately calmed and settled upon our arrival - so peaceful to watch the tui flying about and to watch the evening roll in. Was wonderful that staff helped make sure that we were sorted before they left the site. We were warm and snug during the night. Despite the weather event, we had a nice start to the day hearing the tui around the cottage and even enjoyed a lookout walk before the wild winds hit. Thank you for being accommodating to our neurodiverse family!

We really wish we could have had more time to stay - the weather didn't sit on our side this time - so we made the call to leave early to travel home to be on the safe side.
