Eco Rice Fields House

The host family went above and beyond in making my stay comfortable and making me feel welcome, location was perfect if you want peace and quiet and to enjoy the surroundings and hiking. Evening food was exceptional and healthy and the property was very clean, good value for money!

The hosts are the nicest people, always with a smile and very hard working. We stayed for 7 nights and I think it was the right choice to stay here rather than in Sapa city. You can book a taxi to Sapa at the guesthouse or just book a Grab and reach the city within 15-20min. The breakfast was great! They make noodle soup, pancakes, omelet, bread with eggs and fruits. The rooms are cleaned everyday (vacuum included)! It was freezing cold so having an electric mattress to warm us up was great 😃 We were there during Tet (new year) and learned how to make some sticky rice cakes to celebrate. As a bonus we also met other nice travelers while we stayed there. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

Some tips to make this place even better: Having some heating in the breakfast/dinner area. Having the stairs inside the dorm to go downstairs to the bathroom (as per right now the stairs are outside the dorm so we had to go outside every time we needed to use the WC)

The staff are amazing, the food the cooked us and the hikes they took us on were great. The accommodation was very clean and had everything you need.

Everything about this accommodation was wonderful! The location is incredibly gorgeous, right in the middle of the valley. It's surrounded by a stream, mountains, and lots of wildlife. The hosts are so lovely. They constantly made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Even in the middle of winter, they ensured I never felt too cold. They gave me extra blankets and would turn on my heated mattress pad for me so my bed was already warm. Finally the house itself is just beautiful. It feels modern and rustic at the same time. All the facilities are very clean and work well, and the bed is comfortable. I cannot wait to come back and stay again.

The tranquility in comparison to Sa Pa itself. A really lovely family looked after me really well. Fansipan is still close by and is an amazing adventure. The accommodation has and value for money are excellent.

Very calm and peaceful homestay in the middle of rice fields! The hosts are very friendly and they cook an amazing food!! Highly recommend!

The house itself is brand new, clean and in a convenient location. It was cold when I arrived and they had a heater under the mattress already on for me. The family with their 3 young kids are super sweet, both the wife and husband are guides so the wife Xi Xi guided me on a walk through the valley the first day and taught me about the local culture and area and the husband Dơ organized for me to hike Fansipan mountain and took me up there my second day, for a better price than I could have gotten elsewhere. He even had a little medal and certificate for me at the top. Dơ was a chef before and the food was very delicious with generous proportions. Xi Xi always prepared a delicious breakfast with and option of soup or eggs and fresh fruit. When I needed to go to Sapa early to catch my bus Dơ took me on the motorbike. All in all a perfect place with wonderful hosts from which to explore the area :)
