Sonidos del Ande Wasi

This is a little slice of heaven. High up in the mountains. You can walk to the archeological site above Pisac easily and I had the whole place to myself (both the accommodation & the archeological site) - magic! You can catch a collectivo outside the museum in Pisac and hop off very close to the charming accommodation. There’s a little community pottery making collective just down the way and the local ladies sell delicious empanadas. Otherwise you can cook in the kitchen. I was worried I was gonna be cold but was perfectly cosy in my pretty and peaceful room where I had the best sleep of my trip in South America. It’s so beautiful ! And the views are unmatched!

You are in a rural area and so expect what comes with that. Honestly I was very impressed by the facilities. The bathroom was excellent and the finishes are so lovely. It’s a very special place and the price just can’t be beat.

Nos quedamos 9 días y nos sentimos muy cómodos con la estadía. Fueron muy amables, las habitaciones grandes y el lugar es bastante tranquilo. También hicimos una experiencia de sanación con arcilla y fue increíble!

Beautiful house with mountain view in a charming village. Rooms very comfortable, with roof windows you can see stars at night from your bed. Amazing. I really enjoyed the stay and I plan to come back. Hosts very friendly, you can feel here like at home.

Un hogar muy hermoso, cerca de la naturaleza, el rio, el centro arqueólogo de Pisac y el pueblo de Pisac, por un poco afuera con tranquilidad y silencio. La habitación fue muy espaciosa, limpia y cómoda. familiar y bonito.

Talvez podrían tener un poco mas utensilios en la cocina, pero también así es buena y útil. En la ducha de arriba, falto lugar para colgar mi ropas, entonces los deje afuera. luego bañe abajo y fue mejor...

Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht im Sonidos del Andi Wasi – wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Wir sind spät abends mit den Motorrädern angekommen und wurden von Google Maps zunächst falsch geleitet. Die Dorfbewohner waren jedoch unglaublich freundlich und haben uns kurzerhand durch das Dorf bis zur Unterkunft begleitet. Schon dieser Empfang hat uns gezeigt, wie besonders dieser Ort ist. Unsere Gastgeberin hat uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Am nächsten Tag hat sie sogar für uns gekocht, was unseren Aufenthalt noch persönlicher und unvergesslicher gemacht hat. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, gemütlich und mit eigenem Bad ausgestattet. Unsere Kinder hatten ein Gemeinschaftsbad, das absolut sauber und völlig in Ordnung war. Die gesamte Unterkunft hat eine ganz besondere, warme Atmosphäre. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die fantastische Lage mit dem wunderschönen Blick auf die Ruinen von Pisac und die beeindruckende Landschaft des Heiligen Tals. Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Beim nächsten Mal bleiben wir definitiv länger! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mehrere Haare und Gebrauchsspuren im Bett - mein Zimmer war nicht zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt bereit, da wurde das Bett nicht frisch angezogen. Man wollte mir die Mehrwertsteuer für Peruaner berechnen, oder ich soll die Buchung stornieren, damit sie die bookinggebühren nicht bezahlen müssen. Ich habe ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht und eines mit Gemeinschaftsbad erhalten. Als ich deswegen nicht zufrieden war, hat man mir gesagt ich könne ja gehen. Ich habe gesagt für diesen Tag wäre es zu spät, ich werde sehen ob ich für Morgen eine andere Unterkunft finden könne. Die Besitzerin hat gemeint sie werde wegen der Mehrwertsteuer mit booking reden und sich bis 6uhr deswegen bei mir melden. Um 6uhr stand eine Frau vor meinem Zimmer und hat gesagt sie hätte mein Zimmer gebucht und ich solle jetzt gehen. Die Situation war sehr unangenehm. Die Besitzerin hat mich vor der Frau gefragt wie wir das jetzt lösen, so als wäre es meine Verantwortung, wenn sie das Zimmer doppelt vermietet. Zudem ist das Zimmer angeblich 35m2, wenn es höchstens 10m2 ist. Es gibt überhaupt keinen See in der Nähe, aber sie verkaufen Seeblick. Auch hat das Zimmer keinen Balkon. Würde doch Sinn machen das auszuschreiben, was effektiv da ist. Das habe ich der Besitzerin auch gesgat, aber sie findet es offenbar nicht nötig das Angebot auf booking der Realität anzupassen.

I like the authentic, family essence here...a visit less ordinary. The location and views from Sonidos are stunning. The kitchen is the hearth and provides a good setting for nourishing and coming together with others. You have all that you need here from cozy wool blankets to warm hearts and smiling faces. Support local shops that are steps away for grocery items, the river is at your feet down the path. The family is very accommodating and happy to help. Sonidos Del Ande Wasi is a special place that boasts simple abundance and love. Being perched above the village of Pisac offers magic views of the valley and terraced mountainside that allows for expansiveness, breath and calmness out of the fray, while being within reach.

A great quiet spot outside of Pisac towards the ruins. Beautiful views and easy to collective into town. Had hot showers and a really comfortable room with plenty of blankets for the colder nights.
