Rich Grove Inn

It was a really nice room! Its was perfectly clean. The Hosts are very friendly and cute:) the Hotel is 2 min walk from the Train station so when you arrive with the train and you are tired its the perfect Location. And its also really near to the best Bars and Restaurants.Would definitely recommend!!!!

The only thing is you can hear the music from the bars around. But for us it wasnt a problem.

I loved my stay at Rich Grove Inn. The location is amazing! A very short walk to the main street and no steep climbs to manoeuvre. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hosts are pleasant and provide a prompt, affordable laundry service. I'm solo travelling so the vibe of accommodation is important. I felt very safe and relaxed here. Highly recommend.

The only thing I'd note is that, because of its great location, it is close to some bars which can have loud music late at night. But I slept fine with no issues. I even extended my stay by an extra night so it clearly didn't bother me but if you were wanting something more secluded and quiet, then you should go further out of town.

Po dwóch poprzednich bardzo brudnych hotelach Rich Grove In wydawał nam się pałacem. Zarówno pokój jak i łazienka bardzo czyste i przyjemne. Kosmetyki w łazience, suszarka do włosów, barek z chłodnymi napojami w rozsądnych cenach. Gospodarze mili i pomocni.

鉄道駅から歩いて２分くらいで、市街地までも歩いてすぐでした。非常に良い立地です。設備も綺麗です。蚊帳もあるので安心して眠ることができます。 コロンボまで予約していた高速バスがキャンセルされて困っていて相談したところ、オーナーが電話して別の便を予約してくれて、当日朝、バス停まで見送ってくれました。オーナーのホスピタリティが素晴らしいです。娘さんが日本に留学しており、たまたま帰省していたので日本語で会話することができました。また、宿にいた子猫がすごく可愛かったです。 エアコンはありませんが、エッラは涼しいので８月の夜は長袖でちょうど良いくらいでした。

駅付近にパブがあり夜11時頃まで音楽が聞こえていましたが、私は疲れていたので気になりませんでした。

Being so close to the restaurant and bar area there’s loud music until very late at night…

Toplocatie, vlak bij station en centrum. Niet groot, maar schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt. Eigenaren waren ontzettend lief. We hebben de was laten doen en kregen alles weer keurig schoon en gestreken terug. Aanrader!

Die gute Lage zum Bahnhof, ruhig und die Sauberkeit.

Perfectly located. Three minutes walk from both the heart of Ella and the train station. Our rooms were extremely well equipped and a reasonably priced mini bar was a nice surprise. The laundry service was excellent. Clothes beautifully washed, dried and ironed for 700LKR/kg. Much cheaper than the laundry down the road.
