"Great place to stay!"

9.0

Staff were kind, helpful! They helped us with transportation to the airport and also into town to buy groceries and souvenirs.

Would be great if they took MasterCard or American Express. Only took cash and visa.

"Staying there soon became like being in a family."

7.0

They want to please their guests but need more experience. They are very happy to hear positive criticism and apply it. When there was electricity or when the generator was on, the internet was very good. They owner is thinking things through very seriously and everything looks well planned for. The cook was doing his best and did a great job. When I expressed special desires for food, they would buy it and prepare it.

The access into the pool itself needs to be improved. They are going to put in new steps to solve this problem. There were problems with electricity most of the time but they are working on improving it. Warm water for the shower was a problem but they are planning on solar solutions.

"disappointed for us and the staff."

3.0

The staff were exceptional especially Blessing and Vit. They were full of smiles and couldn’t help enough. Blessing helped us with SIM cards, ATM’s and visiting childhood places for my husband. He never rushed us, he was great to chat too about life in Blantyre. The mosquito net was also great.

Everthing else to be honest which is a real shame as we’d like to have stayed the full 4 days but we moved on after 2 due to it not being well maintained. The photos of it are obviously pre covid as the bar is pretty non existent, warm beer as fridge not turned on, pool has flies in, a 4 page menu but nothing available, run out of cornflakes at breakfast despite the empty dispensers being put out, no fruit, constant power cuts so then no pump for the water!!! So sad to see as Malawi are really struggling to get tourists to visit after the last few years.
