Colorful traditional Riad w/views of Spain

This is a truly gorgeous apartment which is located right on the Medina wall, so the best of both worlds are out your front door- the traditional old city one direction and the modern new city on the other. We have an avid runner in the family who enjoyed a 6 mile out/back run along the shores of the Mediterranean just steps from the apartment. The apartment is just gorgeous. We had an early (7am) ferry ride to Tarifa on our last day and felt very safe walking from the apt to the ferry dock with all our luggage early before sunrise. We didn’t experience the beggars nearby that other reviews mentioned - just helpful well-meaning people.

Noisy at night in the main room and bedroom that face the busy street below. we were there on a Th and Fri so maybe it is not as noisy on other nights. We brought a very small white noise machine/cube with us that really helped.

We enjoyed our short stay. The bothersome factor wasn't in the property, yet, the outstanding number of beggars and how close they get to me and my family made us very uncomfortable, that has nothing to do with the property, we actually left a beach umbrella behind for the next guest to enjoy the great beaches.

Property is incredible, just as beautiful as photos. Air conditioning was great and location was perfect. Best part of this property was the host Ahmed who was so helpful to us the entire stay, organised all our transport for our time in Tangier and made sure getting in and out of the property was seamless for us. I can’t recommend a Ahmed and this property enough to anyone who wants to stay in Tangier.

It was a beautiful riad in a great location. Ahmed was so helpful and informative.

Road noise at night was a little loud. Put the heavy sleepers in the bigger room and that’ll fix it.

The beggars on the streets outside can be a little intense.

The Arabic style in the flat, colorful and unique, good location, kind and considerate host, sea view outside the window, everything perfect! What’s more, just across the street there is a very good seafood restaurant Dos Mars, delicious and price not high.

It’s a pity we stayed just one night.

The appartment was beyond expectation good. Very comfortable with all modern facilities, good laundry machine and dryer. Perfect location. The host was wonderful and very helpful.

One of the most amazing places to stay in Tangier! The host was incredibly kind to pick us up from the ferry, introduced us to the city and gave us great advice on how to navigate our first trip to Morocco. The place was absolutely stunning, the most beautiful room I have ever been in in my entire life. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an authentic experience of staying in a traditional Riad.
