An exceptional place to stay with very traditional decor, spacious and comfortable, right on the Medina wall. The hosts are very responsive. Ahmed is extremely generous and friendly.

Love the location which is facing the Gibralter and located right beside the Ibn Battuta gate through the old city walls (so easy to find your way back if you are lost). Do note that if you are coming from outside the gate, you’ll need to go up a steep hill and flight of stairs. Also, this is the most beautifully unique place I have stayed in with the Moroccan design and the bedding also followed the same beautiful patterns. The beds were super comfortable as well and slept very well. Amazingly enough, there was a washer and dryer in the apartment so it was a relief to do laundry before we left for our next destination. Our host, Ahmed, was easy and quick to remain in touch with via Watsapp and was so helpful and accommodating including arranging transfers from airport and directly meeting us outside once the driver dropped us off in the Main Street outside.

It did get cold in the apartment (we visited in December). Also bathroom has a musty scent and it did get damp in there right after usage. Also, it is smaller than the pictures show.
