Big Măng Đen Homestay

Tiến (the owner) was soo friendly and accommodating! The rooms were clean, i especially loved the huge warm blankets (it got quite cold outside at night, in the room it was fine). Also nice hot shower, water refill stations and motorbike rental. I loved the vibe there, chill and personal :)

The bathrooms were flooded, luckily there were slippers provided

Good place for backpackers, can use kitchen, forest views across the road.

Tien is an amazing owner. He speaks English, very friendly and fun to talk to while also helping so much. The beds were very good for me and the blankets warm. The location is great with very nice view outside. They have cute cats, and a nice garden outside.

Missed a more comfortable sitting area. Some better cleaning sometimes of bathroom/toilets (tho not too bad)

I have been travelling in Asia for over 6 months, and it’s not often you come across such a special place to stay. Tien is an excellent host, and speaks perfect English; he gave me some excellent spots to visit that I wouldn’t have known about through researching online. I also had dinner with his family on the first night, where his mother cooked delicious traditional foods. His scooter was available for rent, so getting around is super easy. And if you don’t drive, there are some beautiful areas for hiking within walking distance. I had a really special time and I would highly recommend anyone travelling in Vietnam to stay here.
