Everything was perfect from the location to the amenities to the hosts, couldn’t ask for any more.

Everything! We enjoyed the tranquility, the lovely walks - no need to get into a car - the tasteful decor and total comfort.

Amazing location, fabulous accommodation, everything we needed and more, immaculate bathroom, comfy beds, relaxing lounge area. Hot tub on a cold October afternoon was brilliant.

The fact that we only stayed for one night!

Excellent location, fantastic property, amazing hosts, incredible honeymoon. Our stay at Wild Boar Barn was unbelievable. The property is luxurious, comfortable, well decorated, and has everything we needed for our stay. As the weather got colder we really appreciated the underfloor heating and log fireplace. The bathroom is gorgeous, the bedrooms are somehow spacious and cosy at the same time. Any time we had a question, Caroline and Andy the hosts responded quickly. The local area is great to explore, we went for walks and popped down to the local pub The Mardale Inn for dinner which was delicious. We will absolutely be back, we loved our honeymoon at Wild Boar Barn.
