Fabulous hotel! Comfortable, filled with art and antiques, centrally located in one of my favorite historic towns.

This is a fabulous old colonial house converted into a hotel. It is very centrally located and within walking distance of everything. The rooms are located around a beautiful tropical garden. We stayed in the colonial suite, room 1. It was large and very comfortable. It had a large window to the street but was very quiet the whole time. The bed was very large and comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also very large and the only issue was the shower. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was taken at the outside tables in the garden area.. The food was fairly reasonable. The cocktails were excellent and good value.

The only thing I can complain about was the shower. It really was poor. The water was barely warm and the water more or less just dribbled from the centre of the shower head. It just needs a good overhaul. It's a pity there isn't more fresh fish on the menu.
