Los Almendros de San Lorenzo

Wonderful stay. First, it's like an oasis of a property. You cannot tell from the outside how lush and beautiful the courtyards and pool area are. It's also got perhaps the only restaurant with air conditioning in town, and the food was quite good. Breakfast was excellent each day. The shady areas are relaxing and so pleasant. The staff was always very kind and attentive and helped us arrange taxis and gave useful suggestions. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Most hotels turn on the air conditioning before you arrive so that it's not a million degrees in the room. But this is a small thing.

Very clean, historic, amazing restaurant

It felt like we were walking into history. Beautiful surroundings, primo room and close to the plaza which was delightful in the evening. Good food and lovely staff.

Charming boutique hotel, I highly recommend…I know I will return here for my next visit!

Nature. Peaceful, food and service.

Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this stay. Beautiful hotel, with beautiful common space, the room was absolutely stunning, the food and service were solid. Relativity easy parking on the street out front, great pool and beautiful gardens. Loved the balcony/ living space in my room. The town is sleepy and quiet, don’t expect a “nightlife” or frankly much to do during the day either. It’s beautiful, quiet and walkable and feels very safe. If you are looking to relax, definitely book this place. Wish I had stayed another night.
