The room was exceptional value, spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate in the pub, the food was very good. The staff were really welcoming and helpful.

There is parking but it is restricted which wasn't made clear before our arrival. There was no plug socket near the mirror/no mirror near the socket, no where to sit and do make up or dry hair, minor issue.

Friendly reception, practical location and access for what we wanted, did the trick

I didn’t realise the rooms were set around the beer garden so if you want a quiet early night then maybe ear plugs is the way to go

Local for work, nice town

We reported the toilet seat was broken on our first day and was told it would be reported to house keeping but it was never rectified. We were offered another room but declined as the room we had was one that had a smart TV, we thought we would get the toilet seat fixed as we were there all week. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

This is our second visit to the hotel and we like it. This time we had a ground floor corner room outside. It was quiet at night, the bed was comfy. We had lunch and that was very nice. Although we couldn't eat in the evening due to having a large party and only having one chef, so we are across the road. The hotel looks beautiful from the front.

No parking at the hotel. Limited parking at the front of the hotel and only free after six o'clock, we had to keep moving the car.
