The Old Granary Farm Cottage

This lovely apartment is located on a farm between Abergavenny and Raglan. It is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Outdoor seating available. I was greeted with milk from the farm's own cows!

The rooms were light and spacious - exceptional for one which sleeps 2. The character and style of the property were obvious, yet the renovation was of a very high standard of finish. The floors took some getting used to, but the effort was well worth it. The rural location was a bonus - immediate access to open countryside, but also easy to get to the local town of Raglan which has all the facilities you might want, but even closer access (walking distance across the fields) to the Clytha Arms which keeps my favourite Butty Bach (Wye Valley) beer

For the older traveller I might have liked some more details about the steepness of the outside access steps, but it's good practice

Lovely and peaceful! Accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly hosts. Nice walks from the doorstep or just a short drive to the Brecon Beacons National Park.

No breakfast but coffee/tea/milk provided. Also host left a packet of Welsh cakes.

It was lovely space, ideal for a couple or single traveller. The house looked recently renovated and everything was in perfect condition. Kitchen was well equipped and the house was warm.

Nothing. But heads up, if you don’t have a car it would be hard to move around if you aren’t planning on staying at the property at all times.
