The Kip was a curated, lovely home stay feel. Beautiful aesthetic and a lovely team. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast was great! Service from the team was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Turndown service and the warmth was top notch. Exceptionally clean to!

The Kip itself is beautiful and lovely but where it is, there is nothing around it to walk to. You have to grab a ride or most have motorbikes.

Property is aesthetically pleasing and has some character.

Unfortunately, the main issue was the staff. It felt as if I was interrupting their holiday whenever I asked a question. One exception was Dilshan who was great. The room was OK, but the toilet was quite dirty and the bathroom smelt quite bad. The brunch is certainly tasty, but the portion sizes are tiny. Overall, for the amount of money this place charges, it is definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Everything was great, from staff super friendly to all facilities of the hotel and the breakfast is top too! Is not a bad thing but if you add a full body mirror to the room will be great as sometimes is necessary.

The tuk tuk driver they recommend is not great charging us extra for being tourists more than double the price. We trusted that since he is associated with a reputable hotel he won’t scam us so we got in and then he told us his price and wouldn’t negotiate and we had no means to walk away. He started arguing that PickMe is a big company which just further proves my point because he doesn’t need to pay commission and we had to pay him cash not card.

El alojamiento es precioso, es una propiedad colonial que han reformado y decorado de forma minimalista y fresca, y es súper agradable. Tiene creo que 4 casitas independientes alrededor de la piscina y dos habitaciones más en el edificio principal. Nuestra casita era muy agradable, con la cama muy cómoda, y baño exterior con una ducha muy grande y con buena presión. El desayuno es en la cafetería abierta al público, es estilo brunch y con muchas opciones, todo buenísimo. El personal es joven y super amable, desde los chicos de la cafetería hasta el personal de mantenimiento y seguridad que no hablaba mucho inglés pero era muy amáñale y nos cuidaban todos mucho. Alquilamos una moto con ellos a buen precio. Volveríamos a quedarnos aquí, ha sido una experiencia fantástica.

Absolutely perfect treat for a super relaxing few days, surrounded by nature and pool to cool down. The breakfast was our favourite with the best coffee and unique brunch board with your choices. Highly recommend!
