The Ivy Barn Holbeton

It was easy to get to, we felt very safe, breakfast was brilliant (had sausage, egg, beacon bap)

We had to leave, could have stayed longer

The room was big spacious and due to having a little dog with us the owners of the ivy barn provided him with a bowl his own towel blanket and biscuits. It was appreciate thought for our dog. The shower in room 3 is amazing and definitely recommend. The breakfast we have both options the cooked sasagues egg n bacon bap and selection of pastries and yogurt. We were provided each day with both fresh milk and orange juice. The bed was comfortable but high. The pillows provided were catered for both soft and medium. The room was warm and we would definitely stay here again

The only thing we didn't like was the fact of the narrow roads as when we arrived it was dark and struggled to fine the place but the owners were amazing and had sent information via text this helped us. Booking in was a fast and easy process.

Location: Perfect! In such a sweet and quiet town! We were here for Halloween and even though the pub behind was busy, everyone was super respectful! Near some really cool walks and beaches. Lots of cute narrow roads and the book in the B&B has loads of places to eat and info on local walks etc. Bed: We are a couple with a lil dog and the bed was massive and comfy with lovely feather down duvet. Breakfast: Was amazing we had the breakfast bap and always came perfectly on time and piping hot! Sustainability: The B&B have put in lots of thought into keeping it a sustainable business which we really like! Dog: There is an extra charge for dogs but it comes with their own blanket and towel (perfect for after days at the beach) and a water bowl and treats! This place has everything you need and the hosts Paul and Jacqui are so lovely and accommodating. We really recommend staying here.

Super comfortable bed, nice room, great location. Fridge, basic dining stuff, coffee, daily fresh milk, cereal etc. included. Cooked breakfast and dinner available on request. An all round thumbs up 👍

Perfect small accommodation for a short stay. We stayed for 2 nights during a particularly cold spell in January. The room was warm, clean and well appointed. Check in and out via a key safe was perfect for us. Although we were simply visiting family close by, this accommodation is perfect for coast path walkers and for surfers and beach loving families visiting iconic Mothercombe beach which is only a few minutes drive or relatively short walk. We enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom could do with a little TLC also no TV hing to do with the property it’s self the pub was closed although text said open for drinks?
