Cosy modern one bedroom flat

The communications with host excellent entry by lock box. spotless clean comfortable good Wi-Fi excellent central location 2 minute walk from train and bus station bars and restaurants. cosy warm everything you need like home from home with added little extras tea coffee milk biscuits and condiments. bathroom well equipped with toiletries fresh towels hairdryer most enjoyable stay

The flat was great. Really lovely. Exactly like the photos. It was very well-stocked for toiletries, towels, etc. The whole place was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Loads of tea, coffee, milk left for us, biscuits and lots of herbs, spices and seasonings too for cooking. Public car park directly behind where parking was dirt cheap (£2.40 all day and free overnight). If you park in the correct part of the area, you can see your car from the bedroom if that gives you comfort. The bed was very, very comfortable. A really comfortable flat.

As other reviews said, if you're planning a lie-in, be aware that it is directly above a dog-grooming parlour, and they were a little noisy during normal business hours. Outside of that, no noise at all. The area of town seems quite run down. A few closed down, unused buildings opposite, some pretty disadvantaged looking people around. It's literally 100m from the railway station, so that's to be expected in my experience. No-one caused any issues at all, though. The vestibule hallway doesn't give a great first impression as the window and whole frame above the door really needs replacing - but don't let it put you off! Two small suggestions to the owner would be to put a lock on the bathroom door as some couples prefer that extra privacy, and also, perhaps get another lamp for the living room. The main light was too bright, and only one lamp in the room meant we opened the oven hood for the light from that. It's a real nitpick, though, because the place is lovely. The owner should be proud of it.

Well what can I say I wasn’t expecting too much as it was a very cheap price from what I’m used to, but what a surprise I got as soon as we walked into the living room/kitchen area, we where greeted with a lovely Christmas tree light up and some decorations on the fire place, it made it feel so cosy and relaxing, would 100% recommend this place, host was very fast and helpful at replying to us (my own stupidity) thank you again 10/10 from us

Gorgeous little flat, ideal base for our trip. Lovely decoration, great facilities and a comfy bed. Several nice touches made it very welcoming Plenty of cheap parking
