The Dutch Tulip Hotel

Paid for breakfast but was told it didn’t start before I checked out, however cereal and tea/ coffee would be provided for people checking out early. I went down twice to where the dining room was but it was locked up and in darkness. There were no staff around for help.

The walls were very thin, and we had a drunk male singing and having loud music playing. Our friends on ground floor had lots of youths banging around and then playing football against their wall outside in the car park at 11pm.

B'fast time was from 9am ? odd considering hotel guest would be 7am or 8am start. Wasn't on their webpage, I had to leave at 8am.

No Bar, no food available of any kid. no vending machine, no shops within walking distance . fine for a beer weekend, not for work. very loud corridors at night, laminate floor don't absorb sounds

Easy to reach. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff at the breakfast.

Beds were too soft.

Very basic hotel, has great potential

Comfortable beds, clean and fresh duvet covers and towels, nice and kind kitchen staff.

Upon arrival we found the barrier down and the hotel door closed, the gentleman at the reception reeked of alcohol. The hotel was very poorly soundproofed, you could hear every little noise in one of the rooms next door, a couple had a party for two nights. The noises did not allow you to sleep, the hotel staff could not cope with it. Also there was a problem with hot water.
