Nice people.

Small beds, expensive food for the content compared to neighbouring places. The room hadn't probably been used before me in quite sometime because it smelled a lot like closed.

There was not wifi inside the room If you can put woulbe good

For the price, the place is more than good.

Some water shortages from time to time. Normal thing in Port Barton, it's not about the hostel but the town.

Will be back to Dam Dam should I go back to Port Barton again! The staffs were amazing - I got injured during my stay and one staff offered me have his ointment to help relieve the pain of my injury. I really appreciated this! They're all so friendly too and my group (3 girls) never felt unsafe during our stay here. The room is spacious enough for 8 people although it wasn't full when we stayed as it is low season. The pillows are firm and very comfortable as per my liking. Each dorm bed has also cabinets with locks provided. Linens smell fresh. Sadly, their resto was close during this time of visit but I was able to try it previously and I really liked what I had.

Hope you maintain the cleanliness of the shower areas. There were always sachets of toiletries during our stay. I know this should be the guests responsibility to throw their trash but some just don't bother so I hope the management will also monitor cleaning them.
