The Old Bakery

It was close to the centre of town but hidden behind the main house.

Comfortable accommodation at the heart of St. Anne, with the whole of Alderney in easy reach. Nice garden space to enjoy. A problem with the TV was easily resolved - thank you, Dan!

I can't think of anything to complain about!

The old bakery was a fantastic and good stable and suntrap location for getting around alderney. Both from a work capacity and also as a leisure location. Situated in the high street around the corner from the top end of Victoria Street and just a few doors along from the campania pub. The owners were lovely and very acomedating. The facilities were just right for the space given within the property.

Trying to find the property is a bit of a mission. In that Google Maps doesn't really help. And eaven the local population seemed to have difficulties in knowing quite exactly where it is. However, once you find the double great garage doors, then you are fine for the rest of your trip. It could definitely do with a larger, more poignant sign to say where it is. I drove up the street 3 times, in the works vehicle we had over there, followed by a walk up and back down again. once that had been undertaken, i entered the campania pub to ask for assistance. But this is my only issue, and to be honest, it wasn't too much a hardship iether. And I actually found it quite amusing.

Quirky and just what we needed in terms of a sense of history staying in an old converted bakery. The artwork originals added a nice touch plus the history of the building as detailed in the information book was informative.

Everything was fine for us although it may not suit people who prefer double beds to singles.

We loved staying at the Old Bakery. It is a comfortable apartment with a well equipped kitchen, super shower and pleasant bedroom. Conveniently situated near shops, pubs and cafes it is very quiet and peaceful. We particularly liked the original art and reading about the history of the property.

We would have liked a visitors’ book as it is useful to read previous visitors’ comments.

It was a great location in St. Anne's and was well kept. Perfect for two. Great little kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable bed and lounge. Nice garden. Good information pack.
