We arrived later in the evening. We talked to the host on the phone, but it was hard to understand how to get into the place. We had to download whatsapp onto our phone as we didn't realize it was used by everyone in Europe for communication (Glad we have it now). It was our first time accessing a key from a lockbox so our inexperience made it more difficult to figure things out. We finally got in after 30 minutes and the place looked identical to pictures on booking.com. The only downside in the end was that we couldn't get hot water, but otherwise loved the place.

The location it's close the tren station and de center but but the neighborhood is not very good. The apartment it's comfortable with spaces, it has all the basics for cooking. The owner gave me instructions over the phone for open!

Clean, good location, comfortable, helpful host

The location was very good when it comes to vicinity of the train station and bus station (about 10min walk). After passing through the courtyard which isn’t in good condition, entering the renovated Apartment is a nice surprise. It is specious and clean, furniture in all rooms is in very good condition (except the bed). There were some products available for use in the kitchenette (pots, frying pan, olive oil, espresso machine, microwave etc). AC was available which makes big difference during hot days. Wifi available.

The area around the building is a bit flimsy/dodgy. I wouldn’t recommend to walk around during the night on some of the little alleys in the surroundings. The courtyard is very neglected. There is some device in the courtyard which keeps making noise whole time. Can get noisy as well during rush hours from the busy street which is in front of the balcony. The bed was tilted on one side so it was very uncomfortable to sleep, we had to put pillows underneath the mattress to make it straight. Unfortunately it was difficult to communicate with the owner (kept speaking in Italian and replying in Italian, even though I was texting in English and requested several times to try to communicate in English.

Location near to the central station is convenient for transport, and the €4 airport shuttle stop is a minute away.

The neighbourhood is not great, and the entrance courtyard to the apartment has seen better days. Still if you want to see real life In Sicily this is it.

Great location, very clean and tidy flat. There was everything we needed. Modern and stylish :) The location is just the best, 10 min walking from the central station, 5-10 minutes to the city center, many restaurants around, 2 big supermarkets near (3 minutes) so and a local market For this price is a really good option Thanks again, I’d come back when in Catania again!
