Cottage at Kanu Wines

The cottage was great. All amenities available. The view and the wines was just awesome

The setting was lovely. Nice view and comfortable

On arrival, it appeared the place had been painted recently. Everything inside was clean, but still paint dust in drawers etc. The braai area and outside table were very dirty. There was no equipment (cloths/ soap/brush) to clean it ourselves and the owner took a long time to arrive with a unsuitable cloth. The braai grid area as also not cleaned. The braai area is where you spend your time in the evening. it should be clean. We managed to clean the outside area on our own eventually.

Good location, friendly staff, quiet secure farmstay

Only one thing we didn't like - this was the smell of a fireplace in the house when we arrived but it did ease up when we opened up the doors and windows.
