The vineyard setting is lovely, and the cottage is comfortable (great beds) and well equipped. A special thanks to Stefan (maintenance) for being on call and getting the generator going when the power went down (Eskom fault).

Unfortunately, there was no electricity for the majority of our stay. While this was out of the owner/manager's control, and they did their best under the circumstances (hiring a generator and then on the final day providing us with a two-plate gas stove, stove-top kettle and emergency lights) this obviously put a bit of a damper on the stay (and sadly meant no hot water for showers). There is an invertor, and apparently plans to add solar, which would be a worthwhile investment considering electricity not always reliable.

Beautiful, peaceful and everything you need! Kelsey was a star and the security super friendly. Will definitely be back!

We could not get the stove top to work, although the oven was fine.

Dit is lekker stil daar en mens voel deel van die boerdery. Die huis is ruim genoeg vir vier mense.

1. Die wisselrigter (inverter) se battery hou net twee ure. Ons was die laaste dag sonder krag toe Eskom se krag af was. 2. 'n Gasstofie en kerse kan dalk in die huis gelos word. 3. Die badkamer se wasbakprop werk nie.

Not really anything I can mentioned the property is very good priced and for the amount paid the property was very clean and had more than expected.
