Butterfly Resort Hostel, Pai

Schöne kleine und ruhige Anlage. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet und sehr freundliche Angestellte.

We stayed here over a month ago and still talk about how lovely of a stay it was. The breakfast here was the best breakfast we’ve had on our travels so far. Lovely buffet w tons of options for both a meat eater and veggie. The huts are lovely. Outside space is lovely. There’s a ton of places to relax on the grounds which is lovely. Location is outside of the main town but I would say that’s ideal as it allows you to relax in the scenery more and it’s only a 15-20 min walk into town. However, you don’t even have to walk because they have the free shuttle service which is so fun and can drop you off whenever you want then you just text them to come back. There is an end time for the shuttle at 8pm but it’s no bother to walk back then bc it’s not too hot. Yes the road is dark but just be sensible and it’s fine. 10/10 reccomend!!

Bathroom did smell a little pongy and mouldy but that’s to be expected when it’s a hut with a tiny window but it was not a big deal!

Luxury bungalow (it was brand new). Lovely helpful staff, great breakfast. Pretty much everything actually.

A bit expensive compared to average prices in Pai. Maybe not the most social hostel.

Estuvimos 8 noches. Siempre tuve que ir a pedir papel higiénico. Nunca vinieron a limpiar la habitación, excepto un sólo día porque fui a pedir una bolsa para yo cambiar la del baño. Pagamos casi 50 dólares por noche por un servicio que nunca tuvimos.

Smelly super small bungalow.

Beautiful garden area with a lot of common space and nice chill areas, breakfast (really a great choice for a hostel)

Kleine Zimmer

Leider hat alles total muffig gerochen. Besonders die Sachen die man im Schließfach gelagert hat, aber auch das Badezimmer hat die ganze Zeit nach Abfluss gerochen und meine Klamotten haben nach vier Nächten auch muffig gerochen

Ich ich war sehr positiv überrascht, als ich dieses Hostel betreten habe. Vor allem für thailändische Verhältnisse sind die Betten in dem Hostel besser als in manch Hotels, wo man das dreifache für die Übernachtung bezahlt. Die Lage ist sehr gut man kann sogar zu fuß laufen. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett wie in Thailand üblich. Aber auch hervorzuheben sowohl die Damen an der Rezeption/Frühstück und auch die Mitarbeiter, die sich um die Grünpflege der Anlage kümmern. Das Frühstück war außerordentlich lecker. genug Kaffee war auch da. Und dafür, dass es in einem Hostel war, war es sehr schön, dass man in dem kleinen Bungalow seine Privatsphäre und Ruhe hatte.

Man kann eigentlich nicht sagen, dass es mir nicht gefallen hat, weil es eigentlich Standard ist, in der asiatischen Region, dass es so aussieht aber das Badezimmer hat eben keine Glaswand wie man das so aus Europa kennt. Wassertemperatur und auch der Druck ja wie gesagt nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Aber wenn ich etwas nennen müsste, dann würde ich das nennen. Aber natürlich konnte man sich schön duschen und einen Föhn gab es natürlich auch vor Ort.
