Butterfly Resort Hostel, Pai

Out of dozens of hostels all around Asia this one is my absolute favorite, the breakfast buffet alone is worth the price of the room every day, and thats not mentioning the lovely staff, incredible (free!) Thai food on Wednesdays, and the beautiful green area with hammocks. Stayed a month and it didn’t feel like enough

Breakfast was SO good. Property was beautiful and our bungalow which only said 10m2 when booking was much bigger with a nice bathroom and furnishings. Pool table was a plus and the free dinner night they hosted had some of the best food we have had in Thailand. Staff are really helpful booking transfers to Chiang Mai. Short walk to town. Nice and quiet location.

There were geckos/frogs who made a lot of noise at night - just something to know.

Butterfly Hostel is just out of the centre which meant it was quieter than other hostels and they offered a free lift into town anyway on certain days/times. It was a real retreat and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful :) We had just got engaged and they couldn’t do enough for us and set the room up so lovely. We really really enjoyed our stay and the staff even helped us with renting motorbikes and onward travel. They have a bar area with a pool table and a restaurant on site which is amazing.

Great place to stay away from the centre noise but close enough to walk there. There is food and drink up til 8pm, and plenty space to relax and chill for the day. Breakfast is a good plus!

Nice place but the mattresses was too soft, like a sponge
