Loved ease of access and proximity to centre. Loved the quirkiness and decoration attention to detail. Loved the bath.

It was in a good location

Our room Was exceptionally dark and felt cramped. It was up three steep flights of stairs. We are in our seventies and found this very difficult with suitc ases, there was no Mfmber of staff to help us

The location is very convenient for the town centre

It was more like staying in an apartment than a boutique hotel, as it was described. There was no service whatsoever, from collecting one's own keys, to no food service at all, not even breakfast Only the duvet cover was ironed. The room was not serviced at all during our stay. The stairwell was pretty dirty but the rooms were clean. Apart from the barman, we saw no other staff at all, having paid in full prior to arrival. It was described as a Gin Lounge but there was only a limited selection of gin and no choice of tonic. We heard the business had changed hands recently so perhaps it will improve but for the moment, it does not represent value for money, nor is it a good experience.

Great location as it is close to centre and everything is in walking distance. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. Lovely features in the room. We loved the large bathroom and bath.

Information on checking in - but that might've been me, I'd had a couple of beverages by check in......

Fantastic housekeeper, so helpful,good selection of drinks/coffee etc.

No TV or Radio,just for background noise....parking quite difficult unless you know where you are going!
