Las Olas Beach Resort

We booked 7 nights here on our way to Boquete. After just afew days we loved it so much we booked an additional four nights. Rooms are clean and air conditioner worked well. Hot showers at night were also a welcome delight. The property itself is nice. Easy access to the beach for long morning walks and then the beautiful sunsets at night. This is an older facility and they are working on it. The adage of you can’t judge a book by its cover is so true. Las Olas Beach Resort is truly a hidden gem. The staff … amazing, hopefully I can remember most as they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Kelvin and Mirna on the front desk. Anthony,Nivea and Bianca in the dining room. And the one name I can’t recall but who really deserves mentioning is the gentleman who works in the pool bar. He actually helped us get English tv channels .. he definitely went the extra mile. If we had time to stay longer we would. We also connected with many other like minded guests. Thank you to all at Las Osos .. memories we will never forget.

Loved the beach. The gardens were beautiful. However they needed to be cleaned up...leaves on the ground, palm fronds. Loved the outdoor patio.

Very loud music during the day. Thankfully they turned it off after 6:30pm so we could enjoy a quiet romantic dinner. The patio was lovely. The resort needs a major renovation. Our room was tired looking and the bathroom was old. The furniture was uncomfortable and worn out. This place would be amazing if some money was put into updating it. The food was ok, but the could use a chef and update the menu. They also need a manager for the waitstaff.

No pudimos almorzar al día siguiente porque nos dijeron que ya no había comida... la comida llegó tarde en la cena, llegó junto a la entrada y estaba fría.

Tuvimos problemas con la puerta del baño (no cerraba), pero tuvieron la atención de pasarnos de cuarto, en el nuevo cuarto tuvimos problems con el aire acondicionado, pero lo repararon rápidamente. Faltaban muebles en la habitación, luz en el porche de atrás.

Sunrise and sunsets are amazing there. Sound of ocean is special Warmest pool and ocean water in Panama. Road construction still there but using doesn't take long to pass through.
