Lalapanzi Hotel & Conference Centre

Location was perfect for our trip.

We checked in around 3 in the afternoon, collected our key and drove out to go see friends. On our return which was after 9pm to 10 pm gate is locked, security no where, we pressed the buzzer multiple times no response. We had to hoot at the gate and eventually security came to the gate to ask us if we have checked in. I told him yes. He must open the gate, he was gone for 15 minutes to get the gate remote. His response was the owner keeps the remote on him. I mean really whats the point of having security at night, That is an inconvenience and safety issue for your guest. I was not happy about that. Our A/c was not working, the TV was not working . Our one bed had bugs not bed bugs. Lighting was not sufficient. The bathroom was the only place with good lighting but we needed plugs. I'm glad they had hot water.

Amazing staff. Outstanding food. Adored the thatched roofs of this elegant and quaint hotel.

Please put carpets in rooms,cement is very cold
